TOFCO MISSION STATEMENT

The Tobacco-Free Coalition of Oregon (TOFCO) is a not for profit organization that includes businesses, organizations and individuals who advocate for programs and policies that will groupdecrease the toll of tobacco-use in Oregon. TOFCO was founded in 1995, combining efforts of non-profit groups, businesses, community groups, county health departments and concerned Oregonians. TOFCO is working to achieve three goals:

  • Helping people quit tobacco
  • Stopping young people before they start
  • Protecting our clean air from smoke

TOFCO primarily receives its funding from individual donations.  Other support comes from non-profit organizations like Providence Health Systems, Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, the American Cancer Society, the American Lung Association, and the American Heart Association.
